New Trail adds mileage/diversity to Fermilab Natural Areas
Please enjoy the newest trail through restored oak-hickory savanna. This trail will be available year round for birdwatching, cross-country skiing, hiking, etc. Please enjoy and bring a friend!

The trail through the woods is getting pretty hard to even locate because of the growth of plants (not to mention a couple of trees fallen over it). It used to be maintained a little bit with woodchip mulch. I'd be happy to take part in a Sat. morning workday to help define it a little better. Is this even in the cards anymore or is the philosophy to let it go natural?
